BODY TREATMENTS

CRYOGENIC LIPOLYSIS. FROM £99 FOR ONE AREA

The procedure is a newly approved fat reduction technique that uses cold temperature in order to eliminate the fat layers in specific spots on your body. It is non-invasive, unlike lypo, requiring no surgery or recovery time. The longest-lasting, and most widely displayed side-effect is some short-term desensitization in the area where the procedure is done.

The process is actually rather simple. The machine is used to essentially suck a portion of your skin, and the fat beneath it, into a cooling device at the end of a hose, which simultaneously cools both the skin and the fat to a temperature that is safe for the skin, but destroys the fat beneath it. To imagine why this is possible, simply think back to the last time you pulled a stick of butter (which is fat) from the fridge. It was quite solid (frozen), and it stays solid just about up to room temperature.

Freezing fat cells effectively kills these cells and causes your body to undergo apoptosis, which is the safe removal of these dead cells. The feeling of having the skin pulled, and then cooled has been described as “slightly uncomfortable” at worst, and “not even noticeable” at best, according to those who have undergone the procedure. It is similar to the feeling of placing a cold pack on an injury. Patients have been known to fall asleep during the procedure, because it’s so comfortable. You can also keep yourself occupied by reading books or magazines, or by playing Angry Birds on your iPhone.

The procedure is a non-invasive method of reducing abdomen fat. Given that it is a non-invasive alternative to things like liposuction, Cryogenic Lipolysis has minimal side-effects. In fact, one of the best parts of this procedure is that it has absolutely none of the potential effects that surgical procedures have, and that’s in addition to its effectiveness at freezing your fat off. Even though this procedure is relatively harmless, below is a list of side-effects that have been reported both in scientific studies, and in reviews.

Redness in the treated area typically lasting only a few hours

Swelling in the treated area also typically only lasting a few hours

Loss of sensation or tingling which can last up to 1 or 2 weeks after treatment

Bruising as a result of the machine squeezing down on your skin & will last as long as a typical bruise.

ULTRA SOUND CAVITATION:

Technological advances have made it possible to use low-frequency ultrasound for localized fat reduction such as love handles or saddle bags.

Ultrasound gives you a safe low cost high tech non surgical option for your body shape goals. Ultrasound Cavitation is an alternative to liposuction.

The adipose tissue is specialised in storing energy as fat. It is primarily composed by the lipocytes also known as fat cells.

The technique uses low frequency ultrasound. The ultrasound waves are conducted through the skin, penetrate directly into the adipose tissue and break it up into small pieces causing micro-bubbles which turn fat into a liquid substance (this phenomena is called “cavitation”). The liquid is then easily vacuumed out from the body using the lymphatic and urinary system.

When you work out, you have to wait until half an hour for the cavitation to happen, with Ultrasound, it is reached from the first minute of treatment.

Finally, it requires under no circumstances surgery or anaesthesia.

A typical session lasts a maximum of 30 minutes ( 20 minutes of effective ultrasound) depending on the patient and the area treated.

The interval between each session is on average a week.

A total of 6 to 10 sessions on average are necessary in order to achieve the desired results depending on the area treated and the patient.

Pressure Therapy works to improve blood circulation. This is a perfect complement to Cavitation treatments and aids cellulite, varicose veins and slimming. It is great for problems such as liquid retention, getting the perfect lymphatic drainage through which accumulated toxins and fat can be eliminated. A body suit is worn in which compressed air is pumped, causing the suit to expand in waves, from the toes upwards, thus stimulating circulation and lymphatic drainage.

The standard price is £52 for half hour pressotherapy session; discounts may apply when combining with cavitation treatments.

Many of us have been reminded about our ‘bingos’ by our lovely children, who allude to it while our clearly less than perfect arms are holding onto the steering wheel of a car – a charming habit. The thing is, Bingo wings are notoriously tough to shift once they've taken hold. But is there anything you can do? If you want to go the non surgical routes you can exercise. Or you can opt for few of these treatments which will give amazing results from the very first session . The treatment is a mixt of vibro massage, lymphatic drainage, electrostimulation and skin stretching wrap on the area. Gives amazing results from the first treatment.
